Can this area be accesed - Guild Wars Forums

So I???m map edging, trying to find the last few percentage points of Tyria and I run into this gate that has a boss behind it but doesn't seem accessible. It's in the Ruins of Surmia mission. In this mission there are 2 gated off areas. 1 is the bonus on the eastern side of the mission area, this is the other of the 2 gates located on the western side. Behind it lies Gnash Underfoot and a small bit of explorable area. Screenshots below. Is this area accessible and if so how? The maps here at Guru don't seem to have it cleared and Wiki doesn't list that boss as spawning in that location, nor does it make any mention of that gate. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Nope, you can't access it. That charr boss is just a tease, I wanted to kill him, too. (I bet he's sitting on MILLIONS!!!)

IIRC Gnash Underfoot is a boss you should have killed already in the mission.. O.o

Actually, in Tyria the boss spawns are random, other than the necessary ones, i.e Markis etc. BTW, that area is unaccessable

This area used to be accesible during beta, or soon after launch, but then the bonus for that mission was changed, or perhaps even completed in the first place, and that area is now no longer accessible (I think).

I remember it because there were plenty of incomplete textures and missing lighting back there.
